The completion of the new hospital tower marks a milestone in Rush University Medical Center’s 10-year project to build new facilities, renovate existing buildings and adopt state-of-the-art new technologies. This Rush Transformation has reconfigured our campus and our processes to put our patients and their families at the center of everything we do. Our campus is home to a new 14-story hospital tower, orthopedic ambulatory building and parking garage/central power plant.

The main entrance for Rush University Medical Center is located at 1650 W. Harrison in Chicago, Ill., just off the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290), less than five minutes west of downtown.

The main entrance to the Medical Center is 1650 W. Harrison St. (the Atrium Building), across the street from the parking garage. The main hospital lobby is on the fourth floor of the Atrium Building. (See map of the medical center campus in PDF format.) This lobby can be reached by taking an elevator from the ground floor or by taking a walkway from the fourth floor of the parking garage.
